TOVAtalks with Manny Waks

This new TOVAtalks interview is of a different nature than others. I am grateful to Manny Waks for sharing his emotional story with me and my audience. This interview is of a highly sensitive topic as it discusses eradicating child sexual abuse in the global Jewish community. Please use caution when listening to it to ensure minors aren’t around.

Manny did not have an easy childhood and he lives with those memories on a daily basis. He has chosen to take his pain and help others. He founded an organization called Kol V’Oz in Israel to help bring a voice and give courage to the victims.

I felt it necessary to air this interview especially now in light of all the #MeToo campaigns and the Netflix movie, One of Us. It may not be an easy story, but it is a necessary story.

Thank you to the Nachum Segal Network for airing this important interview.
