TOVAtalks with Tenufa Bakehila

Bringing awareness about Tenufa Bakehila was very important to me. It’s often you pass people on the street and it’s impossible to know their story. But everyone does have a story. People are struggling. People are going through trials and difficult times. Tenufa finds out about families, elderly, single parents, that need the extra help, a boost, hope to get them back on their feet.

Tenufa does home renovations- professionally, to make the home feel more livable. They do this so that when a child walks into their home after school, they can smile instead of give a sigh. They do this to make the family feel worthy and deserving. This non-profit organization is uplifting the spirits of so many people- currently helping in 8 cities across Israel. They’ve renovated 4,000 homes to date and counting.

Listen to this TOVAtalks interview with Tenufa Founder, Gabi Nachmani, and PR director, Rena Glazer, as they describe everything Tenufa is accomplishing. You’ll also hear emotional success stories so be sure to have a tissue handy.
