I’m on the Radio!

I’m on the Radio!

Something pretty amazing happened recently. I started a blog (yes, the one that I’m aware of you reading right now) and I didn’t actually think people would read it or notice it. It got to a point where I thought it was just in my head- but then I was walking up the street with my kids towards the mall, while FaceTiming with a friend back in New Jersey. There was a man walking behind us, he caught up and said, “Excuse me, but are you ‘Tova in Israel’?” My friend on the phone was in shock. Pre-Purim Pandemonium

Pre-Purim Pandemonium

Ninja Turtles, Spiderman, kings, princesses, pirates, minions.. the list of costume choices can go on for pages. Purim is in the air. The truth is, I actually love this age. I love who I am at this age. I am so lucky every morning to be given the chance for another day. To be better than the day before. And how lucky I am to be celebrating this 1st birthday in Israel- and not just on a vacation- but actually living here. I still have to pinch myself as a reminder that it’s real life and not just a dream. It’s really amazing to be living my dream though!…Continue Reading

Helping in the Hospital

When we moved to Israel, my husband and I came to the conclusion that I wouldn’t work for the first year. We decided it would be important to focus on having our family settle and acclimate to a new country, culture, school, language, and friends. There are so many changes when picking up a family from everything they’ve come to know and love. Since I have always worked outside the home, I was actually pretty excited for a year of “vacation.”
